Reports by a number of human rights organizations and foreign governments accuse the North Korean government from abusing human rights. One of the most criticised violations is breaching North Koreans’ right to leave the country freely. North Korea is accused from creating contration camps. 200 000 people, including children born to “the enemy of the system“, are estimated to be kept in these camps.
